The Executive Board has approved a motion to raise the dues from $15.00 to $20.00 for 2010. Payment may be made to Mim Schneider and Shirley Schneider, co-chairmen of the Membership Committee in 2010 and you may make your payment to the MWC at P. O. Box 356, Mackinaw City, MI  49701.

American Red Cross Wednesday Blood Drives

The next American Red Cross blood drive sponsored by the club will be held on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010, at The Wawatam Senior Center in the Lion Dan Russell Building on Cedar St. If you are able to help by making phone calls OR by giving a few hours at the drive, please call Marianne Murray, at 436-4191. Our drive needs 3-4 people for both the 11:30am until 2:30pm shift, and the next shift until 5:30pm shift. Thank you for your support in saving 3 lives for each unit that is donated!

Angie Ross, our long-loyal chairman, who retired from this position to start her family with hubby Matt in 2010, has had her baby - Miss Dana Catherine Ross. Congratulations! We wish them a lot of luck and patience in the first year with the addition to their family!

Kitchen - HELP!

The club's kitchen is desperately in need of a counter, cupboards, shelves, etc. If you know of anyone who is remodeling and wants to remove their own equipment, give us a call to President Linda Gwilt at 436-5676. We'll be happy to remove it and install it in our own kitchen!

Their first Board meeting is on January 18 at the Mackinaw Area Public Library at 10am.
